A Bit of a Drive

I selected some of my favorite locations that require a bit of a drive. Each one is worth the time.

Bagby Hot Springs Trailhead

(1.75 Hours)

Go prepared to hike with a nice hot springs experience at the end. Not for the modest or faint of heart.

Mo’s Restaurant

(Cannon Beach 1.5 hours)

195 W Warren Way, Tolovana Park, OR 97145

(Lincoln City 2 hours)

860 Southwest 51st Street, Lincoln City, OR 97367

The Lincoln City location is my favorite since it is across from the Looking Glass Inn. I stay at the Inn in their Jacuzzi Suite, walk over to get my food at Mo’s and then spend time at the beach. Never have to drive until it’s time to go home.

Timberline Lodge

(Mount Hood 1.5 Hours)

Government Camp, OR 97028

The site where the movie “the shining” was shot.

Indian Head Casino

(2 hours)

3236 U.S. 26, Warm Springs, OR 97741

Close to warm springs and the desert for nice hikes. The staff is great here.
